The recent malady has abated — lots of sleep, medicine and rest for a week.
Got out for a nice walk in the lovely fresh afternoon in the (old) new takkies!
Fine evening — sis called round with dinner for dinner. No TV — just dinner, a chat and some new (to me) music enjoyed. First proper meal I’ve had in a week as recovery continues.
Just watched the final episode of Downton Abbey on ITV this evening, followed by Mansfield Park. What a shame I didn’t watch more of Downton — absolutely fabulous stuff.
Perfect recuperation TV.
May have to get the DVD.
